Northeast and St Joe big barn fire

On Monday, June 15, 2009, at 12:18 AM, units from Northeast, along with St. Joe, were dispatched to the area of Notestine @ Schwartz for a possible structure fire.  Upon arrival, Fire 71 found a 250 x 75 barn fully engulfed with flames shooting approximately 150 to 200 feet off the ground.  Fire 71 assumed I.C. and advised E-142 to lay 5 inch hose approximately 600 feet up the drive. Fire 71 also request additional resources for water supply.  Northeast would like to thank the following departments that assisted: Huntertown, Woodburn, Washington, New Haven, and St. Joe.
