Northeast had a busy Monday on April 27th. Northeast started the day with an early morning medical run, then responded with Huntertown Fire to a motor vehicle accident with reports of a driver being pinned. The driver was trapped, and due to his condition, was flown by Samaritan to a local hospital. Before units could get back to the station, they were dispatched to a structure fire in Dekalb County. Several trucks from Northeast responded, along with neighboring departments. The day didn’t end there; A couple more runs and another fire kept units busy the rest of the day. While units were out Northeast had Huntertown, St. Joe, and New Haven on stand-by for them to cover the east side of the county. Northeast would like to thank those departments for their assistance.
